HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings Police say they continue to hunt down leads in the shooting death of Jose Hansen on September 11.

They're now waiting for forensic lab results on some of the evidence that they've gathered so far. Police also said they have conducted "numerous interviews, collected many pieces of physical evidence and continue to piece together the events that led to the ultimately led to the death of Jose."

Hansen's body was found September 11 by a couple out for a walk in the 700 block of west G Street in south Hastings. Police said he died of an apparent gunshot wound.

About a week later, Lincoln Police arrested Deante Mullen, who Hastings police had identified as a person of interest in the Hansen investigation. But Mullen has not been arrested in connection with the case.
