"Catch up to me and it was going to be bad"

GRAND ISLAND, Neb (KSNB) A Grand Island man is in custody after he threatened police to "catch up to me and it was going to be bad."

Police say Jason Vogt, 35 was arrested after threatening to blow up or shoot up the staff at the South Locust street Burger King.

Police say he made threats to an officer saying, "catch up to me and it was going to be bad." Police took this as a threat to cause harm. He was arrested for Terroristic threats, assault for menacing threats and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The incident happened about 6:45 Monday night. Police apprehended Vogt and no-one was injured.
