LINCOLN, Neb. -- Jonathan Smith, head coach of Oregon State's football team announced in a Tweet today that Mike Riley will be returning to the West Coast as his Assistant Head Coach.

Riley was recently let go as head coach of the Huskers and since then rumors have mounted that he would be returning to Oregon State.

Riley was the head coach of that program for over a decade before he came to Nebraska.

No information on salary has been announced yet, but a spokesperson for the university said the "payout to Coach Riley from Nebraska will be mitigated by his salary at Oregon State."
