Teen inside vehicle helps police stop drunk driver

OMAHA, Neb. – Police pulled over a drunk driver in Omaha after a teen inside the vehicle called authorities. The driver reportedly had a blood-alcohol level of .293.

The incident happened on Sunday morning when police received a call about a reckless driver. The call was made from one of two teenagers who were inside the vehicle.

The driver was highly intoxicated, and the caller continued to give location updates to police until the vehicle was pulled over near 24th and C streets.

The driver proceeded to blow a .293 into a breathalyzer and was cited for five counts of operating a vehicle while under the influence with minors were in the car. The driver also did not have a valid registration or license.
