What: Family Advocacy Network Hastings Satellite Grand Opening, Ribbon Cutting
When: Saturday, Apr. 22 from 1-4 p.m.
Where: 803 N Colorado Ave, Hastings
Details: The open house starts at 1:00pm, opening remarks and ribbon cutting at 2:00 p.m. The event will last until 4:00 p.m.
The Family Advocacy Network (FAN) is a nationally accredited child advocacy center. FAN serves 14 central Nebraska Counties. A new facility has been constructed in Hastings to serve child abuse victims and their families. Please join us in celebrating our open house. Opening remarks and ribbon cutting will occur at 2:00 p.m. Opening remarks will be made by Senator Halloran, Mayor Stutte, Adams County Attorney, Donna Fegler Diass, and Hastings Police Chief Pete Kortum.

What: Pub Quiz for NAP
When: Saturday, Apr. 22 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Where: WineStyles, Hastings
Details: Test your trivia knowledge on current events, Disney, food, HIV/AIDS, music, potpourri, sports, travel and the 80's and 90's while raising funds for the Nebraska AIDs Project, Kearney office. The Pub Quiz for NAP will include a grand prize to be awarded to the winning team there, along with hors d'oeuvres, door prizes, and a silent actions featuring gift certificates and merchandise donated by local businesses. There will be a $10.00 entry fee per person.

What: Central Nebraska Walk MS
When: Saturday, Apr. 22 starting at 8:30 a.m.
Where: Northwest High School, Grand Island
Details: Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.; Walk starts at 10:00 a.m. Walk MS unites teams of families, friends, neighbors and co-workers to raise funds that drive groundbreaking MS research and provide life-changing services for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria. A light breakfast will be available. The Walk starts on the school track at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be served following the Walk. What: Gayle Becwar - Comedian, Magician
When: Sunday, Apr. 23 at 2:30 p.m.
Where: Wood River high School Theater, Wood River
Details: Gayle Becwar, comedian/magician will be the final event of the Celebrate Wood River Performing Arts Series for the 2016-17 season. This event is open to the public & FREE of charge. No tickets or reservations needed. A free will offering will be accepted.

What: Spring Shopping Bonanza
When: Saturday, Apr. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Holdrege City Auditorium, Holdrege
Details: Come on out to the Holdrege City Auditorium for a Craft/Vendor show to shop for your Mother, graduate or just for yourself.

What: Road Rally
When: Sunday, Apr. 23 from 1-5 p.m.
Where: Classic Car Collection, 3600 US-30, Kearney
Details: We are happy to announce our 3rd Road Rally event! Its a fun for the whole family! Sunday April 23rd Show 'N Shine: 1pm, $10 per car, public judging, 5 awards to be given! During the car show we will also yard games and snacks. Poker Run: Starting at 3:00pm, $2 per hand All proceeds benefit the Arc of Buffalo County. The Arc is a non-profit service organization that provides resources and programming to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
