BANNER CO., Neb (KNEP) - A traffic stop for speeding in Banner County leads to drug charges against four young adults from out-of-state.

Court documents say a Nebraska State trooper stopped a 2002 Cadillac Thursday evening, immediately smelling marijuana when approaching the driver door.

Among the items found in a search of the vehicle was a hash oil dabbing kit with two grams of hash oil, several baggies with a total of 76 grams of pot, and a baggie with 17 grams of cocaine.

Arrested were driver Denae Gonzalex, 19, Mateo Velez, 19, and Alonzo Duarte, 20, all of Colorado, as well as Lamont Reis, 18, of California.

All four denied the items found in the car belonged to them, and all were arrested for possession of cocaine 10 to 27 grams with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana more than an ounce, less than a pound.

Authorities also seized 819 dollars cash that was found in Velez' pocket, as well as six cell phones, an iPad and two Colorado passenger license plates found in the vehicle, which was also seized for further investigation.
