SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Watch the all new NBC NEBRASKA Scottsbluff newscasts LIVE from our studios in Scottsbluff and Western Nebraska weekdays at Noon, 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and weekends at 10 p.m.

The last KOTA Territory newscast aired on the ABC station Monday, May 2. KOTA continues to bring you ABC programming and local South Dakota news. However, to get live local news, Nebraska sports and weather forecasts for the Panhandle, you’ll need to change the channel to NBC NEBRASKA.

So where can you watch NBC Nebraska? It’s easy – you’ll find it on the same channel you currently see NBC programming – as that Wyoming signal will soon carry NBC Nebraska instead.

Our station has been a busy place this year as we worked hard to get ready for the big change. It meant installing lots of new equipment – and learning to use it. That included virtual sets, high definition graphics and animation, live in-the-field reporting capabilities and the day’s top stories from Scottsbluff, Western Nebraska and important news from our State Capitol of Lincoln.

We were honored when Governor Pete Ricketts stopped by our studios to congratulate us on the launch. Click the video link to see what he had to say.
