GERING, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings Sodbusters four-game winning streak snapped by Western Nebraska. The Pioneers used 7-runs in the fourth and fifth innings to down Sodbusters, 8-6.

Griffin Everitt paced the offense going 2-4 with 3 RBI’s. Nate Zyzda started and went 4.0 innings giving up 5 earned runs, striking out seven. Hastings ends the road trip going 5-3.

Sodbusters are back home Thursday hosting the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs at Duncan Field. First pitch at 6:35 p.m.
