Thursday to bring quiet weather conditions

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Thursday will be just a little bit cooler than Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures in the morning will start off in the 60s after the overnight storms. It’ll warm into the mid to upper 80s and lower 90s. There may be a few clouds around mixed with sunshine. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Some severe weather will be possible again across parts of Central and Eastern Nebraska.

Friday will feature a small chance for rain and thunderstorms both before sunrise, then again in the evening. Otherwise expect highs ranging from the mid 80s and upper 90s. The coolest temperatures will be in the northeast with the hottest temperatures in the southwest. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature very similar high temperatures. Saturday will have another chance for showers and thunderstorms. Sunday mostly likely will be dry. Temperatures look just a bit hotter for Monday with mostly sunny skies. We’ll see highs from near 90° northeast to near 100° out west.

The weekend will be warm and humid, with a chance for thundershowers here and there, but not widespread at this point. Highs will be at or just above average with dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s. Next week will continue the trend of Summer heat as highs reach the mid 90s.
