HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - For the first time since the pandemic hit we had football in the United States. To make it even better, it took place right here in Central Nebraska.
Ron and Carol Cope Stadium in Kearney was once again the host of the 62nd annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl. As some of the best senior high school football players in the state were able to take the field representing their school one final time.
The North scored first to grab a 6-0 lead. However, once the second quarter came it was the South the rest of the way.
The South scored the next 30 points to bring home the 30-6 win.
