Multiple people suffer minor injuries in two-vehicle accident

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island Police Department patrol vehicle and a Chevrolet Suburban were involved in an accident Monday night leaving every individual with minor injuries.

The accident occurred just after 7 p.m. Monday evening at the intersection of 2nd St. and Walnut Ave. in Grand Island.

The patrol vehicle had one officer inside while the Chevy had four females inside. None of the individuals were transported to CHI Health St. Francis, rather all went in on their own.

The driver of the Chevrolet was an adult female, herself and the other three women are all from Grand Island. Both vehicles are totaled, no charges have been filed in the accident.
