Hastings shutout by Fremont, division lead down to a half game

Hastings Sodbusters' division lead cut to a half game after rival Fremont shuts down offense.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Hastings Sodbusters came back home after a six-game road trip, bringing with them a 1.5 game lead in the Clark Division. This evening, Fremont Moo starter Brett Erwin changed that as he went 7.0 innings, allowing three hits and striking out nine in their 2-0 win.

Sodbusters starter, Andrew Shaw had a solid start going 6.2 innings, giving up one-earned run. Hastings leads the Clark Division by a half game as they enter the last half of the season.

These two teams are back at Duncan Field Saturday evening. First pitch set for 6:35 p.m.
