Grand Island trailer total loss following early morning fire

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island Fire crews responded to a trailer fire early Monday morning.
The fire, called in around 6:30 a.m., was located at 518 E. Capital Avenue, lot 62.
GI Fire said it took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
Of the five people living in the trailer, one person was transported to CHI Health St. Francis but was released shortly after.
Fire officials say the trailer is a total loss with about $10,000 in damages.
There were smoke detectors that were going off and alerted the mother who called 911.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
