HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - We are transitioning into a very quiet, consistent weather pattern for the next week and a half. There will not be much in the way of clouds or precipitation for the next week, and each day will only vary slightly in temperature.

It’ll be a little warmer Sunday with highs in the upper 70s and low to mid 80s with the warmest temperatures west. Monday’s temperatures will be similar. Tuesday will feature more widespread 80s with temperatures approaching 90° west and northwest. Both Monday and Tuesday will be on the breezy side. Wednesday may be similar to, if not slightly warmer in the mid to upper 80s to near 90° out west. All of these days will be sunny.

The period of Thursday through Saturday will introduce a slight amount of uncertainty. There is a cold front forecast to pass through, which will bring temps down to the 70s. How much it drops and the amount of moisture this will enhance is the question. For the most part, it looks to be a dry front, with very little precipitation chance, but clouds look to increase later in the week. Temps are slightly more confident, though some models put lows down to the mid 40s, which is the cooler side of things, others show more likely 50s.

After this brief cool down, it appears we return to the low 80s into next week, which will be slightly above average. Precipitation through this time frame is expected to remain minimal.
