Kearney starting COVID grant program

KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The city of Kearney is offering help to local non-profits struggling during the pandemic.

The city received $1.6 million from state CARES Act funding. They’re going to used $300,000 of that money for the COVID-19 Community Betterment Grant Program. This grant is available to all non-profit organizations located within the City of Kearney. Non-profit organizations can apply for funding up to $10,000 which must be used for Community Betterment Purposes as defined in the grant application.

Application forms must be submitted to the City of Kearney by November 13 and can be found on the City of Kearney website.
