Grand Island teen assaulted in apparent armed robbery

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island teen was the victim of an apparent armed robbery on Monday.

Accord to Grand Island police, the incident happened just before 2:00 p.m. in the 800 Block of West Charles Street.

Police said the victim, a 15 year old male, was held at gun point, assaulted and had his keys taken from him.

The victim also stated the assailants struck him with the firearm. demanded property from him and then threatened to return and kill him and his mother.

The investigation is on going but police do feel they have valid suspects in mind.
