Adams County Justice Center gets go-ahead

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Adams County voters decided to spend a big chunk of money for new building containing the jail, sheriff’s office, county attorney’s office and courtrooms.

The Adams County Justice Center came with a $38 million price tag. The county will sell bonds to raise the money for construction and pay off the bonds with property tax.

The measure passed 6,911 for to 6,448 against.
