GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Local nonprofits and food pantries in a four county area are teaming up to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger and homelessness in the area.

Alll day Tuesday you can help by dining out for a good cause in this year’s Dine United Event.

Participating restaurants in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick counties will be donating a portion of their sales today to the cause.

This is made possible through a partnership between Heartland United Way, the Crisis Center, Hope Harbor, Salvation Army and local food pantries.

Below is a list of participating restaurants:

HALL COUNTY: Burger King -Grand Island locations, The Finish Line Restaurant, Balz Sports Bar, Carlos O`Kelly`s, Coney Island, Farmer`s Daughter Cafe, Sonic Drive-In - Grand Island, Whitey’s, Arby’s, Afternooners, Bandits Bar, McKinney’s Irish Pub, Jim`s Gyros, Juice Stop, The Medina Street Vault, Dairy Queen -Grand Island locations, Hy-Vee Market Grill, Texas Roadhouse, Lee`s Family Restaurant, Pizza Hut -South, Bonzai Beach Club, Sin City Grill and Tommy’s Inc.

HAMILTON COUNTY: Arby’s, Grandview Café and Lounge, JoJo’s Gelato & Grill, Pueblo Viejo, Raths Café, Chucks 2.0 and Sit n Bull

HOWARD COUNTY: Bed Head Coffee Co., La Pena, The County Cage, Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe and Runza

MERRICK COUNTY: Dairy Queen, Taco John’s and Runza
