KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - For the first time in 11 days, the daily report of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from the Two Rivers Public Health Department has fallen below the triple-digit mark.

The district says 80 new cases were reported to them Tuesday. The last time the daily count was less than 100 was on Saturday, November 7 when 54 cases were reported.

Buffalo County reported 46 of those new cases. There were 14 in Dawson County, 13 in Phelps County, five in Kearney County and two in Gosper County.

Statewide, according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services data tracker, there have now been 103,805 cases in the state. There are currently 978 hospitalizations for COVID-19 and 816 deaths have been attributed to the virus in Nebraska. DHHS also reports 54,604 recoveries.
