Kelsea Blevins relieved of coaching duties
Superior High School will go in a different direction for the volleyball team
SUPERIOR, Neb. (KSNB) - Superior High School volleyball coach Kelsea Blevins will not return with the team next season, after the school relieved her from her duties.
In the last four seasons Blevins led the Wildcats to a 107-19 record, four state tournament appearances and the program’s only state championship in 2017.
Superior Public Schools Superintendent Marty Kobza released the following statement:
“The Superior School District recently informed Kelsea Blevins that she would not be appointed head volleyball coach for the 2020-21 school year. Ms. Blevins shared this information with her team directly. The school district will begin the process of searching for a replacement to assume head coaching duties. Ms. Blevins remains employed by the Superior School District as a full time Spanish instructor.”
