Husband, wife connected to armed robberies in Grand Island, Kearney
KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - A married couple from Grand Island faces felony charges for an armed robbery at a Kearney convenience store and are suspects in another convenience store robbery the day before in Grand Island.
Jeremiah Kresser, 23, is charged in Buffalo County with felony robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony. He is in the Buffalo County Detention center on $100,000 bond.
Angela Kresser, 51, is charged with felony accessory to a robbery. She is in the Buffalo County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
The pair were arrested December 30 for an armed robbery at a Kwik Stop in south Kearney.
Hall County court records indicate the pair were married.
Grand Island police said the pair have also been referred to the Hall County attorney for charges connected to an armed robbery in the early morning of Dec. 29 at the Pump and Pantry on East Highway 30 in Grand Island.
Formal charges in Hall County are pending.
