HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings College welcomed Briar Cliff to Lynn Farrell Arena for the team’s first home game of the new year. After half number one, it looked like the Broncos had a chance at picking up their first conference win of the season. The second half was a completely different story though, as Briar Cliff outscored the Broncos by 25 points to pull away with the 104-75 win.

The Chargers (9-7) shot a remarkable 19-36 from three point range. The Broncos were led by Ben Juhl, who finished the night with 30 points.

Hastings College (4-11) will take the floor again Saturday when they make the trip up to Morningside.
