HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Tomorrow will be another fairly sunny day. Winds won’t be as strong as today, mostly remaining under 10 mph. Temperatures will be a little warmer, topping out in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s. Skies will be mostly clear tomorrow night with lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s. The warmest day of the week will come on Wednesday. Temperatures will warm up into the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s. There will be a few more clouds around compared to the first two days of the work week.

Changes come in the form of a cold front Wednesday night. This front will move in from the northwest. There’s a chance for some late night light rain or snow, but most forecast models keep this as very light moisture at best. Of a bigger note will be the strong northwest winds that will move in behind the front on Thursday. Winds of 25 to 35 mph and gusts over 45 mph will be possible on Thursday. Similar winds are expected on Friday. Cooler temperatures will also be drawn into the area from the northwest. Highs on Thursday will range from the upper 30s northwest to the upper 40s southeast. Friday will be a bit chillier yet from the lower 30s northeast to the lower 40s southwest.

The winds will come down quite a bit for the weekend, but temperatures will be slow to warm. We’ll see highs on Saturday in the mid 30s to mid 40s from northeast to southwest. It may be a few degrees warmer from the upper 30s to the upper 40s from northeast to southwest on Sunday. We should trend a little warmer for early next week with no major weather concerns.
