WEBSTER COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) - Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday in Webster County.

It happened around 12:15 p.m. near Road 1300 and Highway 4. That’s between Blue Hill and Red Cloud.

The Webster County Attorney’s Office said an eyewitness reported that a vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 4, attempted to pass a snowplow and hit the second vehicle head on.

Teddy Morrow, 74, of Cowles, Neb., was the driver and sole occupant of the first vehicle. He died at the scene.

While Kimberly Mohlman, 29, of Red Cloud, was a passenger in the second vehicle involved. She was transported to Lincoln where she died as a result of her injuries.

Mohlman’s husband, who was the driver of the second vehicle, was also taken to Lincoln where he remains in critical condition.

The couple’s 3-year-old daughter, who was in the vehicle, had no serious injuries.

A fundraiser has been set up through Facebook for the Mohlmans. More than $18,000 has been raised so far.

Hometown Market in Red Cloud is also accepting donations for the family.
