Girl Scout cookie sales happening with a slightly different look
Girl Scout cookies are officially back in the tri-cities.
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Thousands of boxes of Girl Scout cookies were unloaded off the truck Thursday morning at the Adams County Fairgrounds.
From Thin Mints to Caramel deLites and all the others in between- they can soon be yours.
Many people were wondering if sales would go on as normal, but officials say they’ve come up with a way to sell, while being safe.
“Girl Scouts and Walmart did come to an agreement. And the girls can have a booth to sell at Walmart. There is a limit of how many girls can be present at the time. And they all have to wear masks and have gloves on as well,” said Support Specialist Lila Munsell.
Munsell said online sales can also be done through the scouts and delivered to your home as well.
Booth sales will begin on February 19 but regular cookie sales start February 12 - March 21.
Boxes are $4 each, except for gluten free chocolate chip which are $5 a box.
This year’s new cookie is the Toast-Yay! which is a cookie with a french toast twist.
