Chipotle opens in Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - People in Grand Island have another option when it comes to places to eat.
Chipotle officially opened its doors on Thursday, and employees told Local4 they’ve been crazy busy.
The restaurant, located in the Northwest Crossing Shopping Center, is in the building that previously housed Firehouse Subs.
Due to the pandemic, precautions are being taken including a sanitizer station and some tables closed off.
When asked why Grand Island for Chipotle’s newest location, Chipotle communication analyst Tyler Benson said the company is always looking for communities where we can serve our real food, as we know real food has the power to cultivate a better world and the Grand Island area is a great fit.
This is the first location in Nebraska west of Lincoln.
