HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Nebraska man has been charged with bank theft for stealing an ATM from Giltner State Bank.

Clifford R. Badberg, 64, is facing the federal charge for the theft that happened on or around Feb. 15, 2021.

U.S. Attorney Joe Kelly announced Friday that the federal Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska had returned an indictment in the case.

The maximum possible penalty if convicted is 10 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a three-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
