Free training to help register people to vote

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Hall County Election Office is giving registered voters an opportunity to help others in the election process.
They are offering three training sessions to become a Deputy Registrar. That is a volunteer who is trained and certified to register people to vote.
The one-hour training is free and open to registered voters who desire to assist in the election process by registering voters at community registration events. The certification obtained is good for three years or until substantive changes are made to the Deputy Registrar process.
The training will be offered on the first floor of the Hall County Administration Building in Grand Island.
- Monday, March 15 at noon
- Monday, March 15 at 4:30 p.m
- Wednesday, March 17 at 8:00 a.m.
Registered voters interested in becoming a Deputy Registrar should reserve a training spot by calling the Hall County Election Office at 308-385-5085 or emailing to tracyo@hallcountyne.gov.
