LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The Pleasanton Lady Bulldogs outscored Archbishop Bergan 25-5 in the third quarter to advance to their second-straight Class D1 title game.

These two teams are quite familiar with each other as they faced each other in the championship game a year ago. This afternoon the Bulldogs once again came out on top winning, 61-52.

Kaci Pierce led Pleasanton with 18 points and Katy Lindner was not too far behind with 17. In total, the Lady Bulldogs had four players score in double figures.

The win improves their record to 27-1 and more importantly sends them to championship Saturday where will they play second-seed Weeping Water and vie for their second straight title. Tip-off set for 9 a.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
