HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings Police have arrested a 27-year-old man following an incident early Monday morning.

Police said a newspaper delivery worker was delivering a paper at a home in the 700 block of East 4th when a man, identified as Joseph Furrow, started chasing him with a butcher knife.

An eyewitness on the scene told Local4 that Furrow was wandering outside his house at the time.

The delivery worker was able to get away and call police. He was not injured.

Furrow was then arrested for threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
