Hastings snaps losing skid, hangs 31 runs on Twin River
Hastings High beats Twin River at Duncan Field, 31-0
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings High baseball had the rare road game at Duncan Field this afternoon. Due to the rain last night, Twin River’s field was too wet so the Titans and Tigers moved their game down to Hastings.
The Tigers offense clicked from start. In the first inning, they scored 10-runs capped off by senior Braden Kalvelage’s three-run inside the park home run. Luke Stevens led the team with 5 RBI as Hastings had 19 hits in five innings beating Twin River, 31-0.
Trayton Newman started for Hastings pitching 4.0 inning, striking out six batters.
The Tigers are home again Tuesday, March 30 hosting Central City/Fullerton/Centura. First pitch at 4:30 p.m.
