Hastings comes from behind to win third-straight game

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings baseball trailed 2-0 and did not have a single hit before the offense clicked in the fourth inning bringing home four-runs all with two outs. Braden Kalvelage ended Jake Chronic’s no-hitter to start to the rally.

Trayton Newman and Isaiah Henry had back-to-back hits to bring home three-runs. The play of the inning came when Henry stole second and Gareth Jones snuck home dancing around the catcher to score the fourth run. The Tigers went on to win 5-2.

Hastings’ next game is tomorrow traveling to face top-ranked and unbeaten Lincoln East. First pitch set for 10:30 am.
