GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Hear Grand Island announced on Friday they will be coming back this summer.

From June 4 through Aug. 6, they will be bringing live music to the Railside Plaza.

“It feels awesome, driving by the Railside Plaza last year on summer nights was a emotional, you know, nothing going on but it was worldwide, we weren’t the only ones,” said Hear Grand Island Founder Brent Lindner.

They have a full line-up of bands already booked. They’re also partnering with non-profits in the area to do fundraisers including a special event for Cinco de Mayo.

“May. 3 is our official press conference where we’ll be announcing some of the acts and some of the other bells and whistles we’ve been working on, but it’s going to be a very good year,” Lindner said.

This will be the fifth year they’ll bring live music to the city. In 2019, they were averaging about 1,800 people a night.
