KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The City of Kearney reports that water quality in the city complies with Federal and State requirements established by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

The Water Operations Division of the City says the annual report on water quality will be electronically delivered this year. The Annual Consumer Confidence Report is available for viewing from the City of Kearney web site. A link to the report will be included on all May and June 2021 utility bills. Anyone who would like to receive a physical copy can call the Utilities Department at (308) 233-3268.

The report details the City’s monitoring of the water supply, which is check for contaminants. If the level of contaminants in the drinking water supply were to exceed those standards, the public would be notified.
