Enplanement numbers on the rise at CNRA
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The number of people flying out of the Central Nebraska Regional Airport has increased.
In March 2021, CNRA enplaned 4,809 passengers for a total 9,723 passengers traveling through the terminal. This equates to a 60% increase in enplanements over last March when numbers plummeted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Pent-up demand and mass-vaccination have contributed to this increase,” said Executive Director Mike Olson. “We are optimistic we’ll see increased travel throughout 2021.”
In June, the airport will celebrate American Airlines 10th Anniversary in providing air service to Dallas Fort-Worth, TX.
