Grand Island Public Schools to reveal four-year plan
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island Public Schools officials are expected to reveal a strategic plan called “On Track to Thrive in 2025″ at tonight’s school board meeting.
A GIPS spokesperson said the plan will include changes to programming, personnel and equity in the district. The plan includes a redefinition of roles and departments and re-purposing resources to meet district priorities.
A related item on the school board agenda covers a proposed contract with a consulting company to support the strategic plan.
Tonight’s school board meeting starts a 5:30 in the Kneale administration building. Local4 is covering the meeting and will provide coverage of the new plan.
