Promoter selling tickets to Hastings Bigfoot Event
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - You can get two days of nothing but Bigfoot for $50 a pop later this month in Hastings.
The two-day event is April 23-24 at the Chautauqua Park Pavilion in Hastings.
According to a press release distributed by the Adams County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the event is billed as the 4th Annual International Bigfoot Conference. The event has been organized by Harriet McFeely, who is the founder of the so-called Nebraska Bigfoot Crossroads of America Museum and Research Center. McFeely’s stated goal is “to bring further knowledge and appreciation of this unique species through educational and scientific facts.”
The conference includes a speaker from Russia and various other guests who claim to have done research on Bigfoot.
The are two day sessions Friday and Saturday and a movie about Bigfoot Friday night at the Hastings Museum. Tickets for the total package are $50 a piece. Single event tickets and on-line access are available at lower prices.
