Blue Hill Track & Field invite results

Local schools compete in Blue Hill Track & Field invitational

BLUE HILL, Neb. (KSNB) - Blue Hill held its annual Track & Field invitational but after two schools backed out only four remained (Blue Hill, Red Cloud, Silver Lake, Heartland Lutheran).

In the girls 3200 meter race, Ladelle Hazen showed why she is a Division I commit finishing first with a time of 12:48. She won by nearly two minutes. On the boys side, Hazen’s teammate Kyle Hubl won with a time of 12:02.

The Bobcats did not stop there as Cody Hubl won the 400 meter dash (54.94) and Koltan Wademan won the 100 meter dash (12.06).

Heartland Lutheran’s Abigail Niemeier won the girls 400 meter dash (1:07.31) and Red Cloud’s Avery Fangmeyer won the 100 meter dash (13.91).

Girls:

1) Blue Hill: 197 points

2) Heartland Lutheran: 112 points

3) Silver Lake: 103 points

4) Red Cloud: 63 points

Boys:

1) Blue Hill: 194 points

2) Red Cloud: 102 points

3) Silver Lake: 95 points

4) Heartland Lutheran: 73 points
