Storm drop regular season finale, still clinch Western Conference

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Storm came into Friday’s game on a four game losing streak, and needing just one point to clinch the Western Conference regular season title.

Despite two goals from Ben Schoen, the Lancers defeated the Storm 3-2.

However, after Fargo lost 5-2 to Sioux City, Tri-City was able to clinch the Western Conference title and are now the one seed for the USHL playoffs.

With one game left in the regular season, the Storm are still waiting to see who they’ll play in the first round.
