HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - After winning the Western Conference regular season title, the Tri-City Storm get set to face off against the Fargo Force, in the first round of the playoffs.

Despite losing their last six games, the Storm are excited to play on home-ice, and have that advantage against the Force. The team credits the fans as a huge factor in their games.

“Win or lose they’ve been behind us. They’ve shown up in bigger numbers than we’ve ever seen before. We’re very fortunate. We feel like we have the best home-ice advantage in the league,” head coach Anthony Noreen said.

“Our fans this year have been really supportive, coming every single game, especially with COVID it’s kind of a crazy year,” said team captain Carter Mazur. “So I’m excited to see how the V is packed.”

Game time is scheduled for 7:05pm on Friday and Saturday, with a potential third game being played on Sunday if necessary.
