HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Tri-City found themselves on home ice Friday night, thanks to clinching the Western Conference regular season title.

Their opponent? The Fargo Force, who the Storm went 4-2 against during the regular season this year.

Tri-City got the scoring started about halfway through the first period, when Cole McWard sent a shot through the five hole to put the Storm up 1-0.

Fargo would come back though, as Jack Pearth went top shelf to tie the game up at 1 with about three minutes left in the period.

After being down 2-1 heading into the third, the Storm would get two goals to come from behind and win game one, 3-2.

Tri-City can win the series and move on to the Western Conference finals, with a win tomorrow night. Puck is scheduled to drop at 7:05pm at the Viaero Center.
