More rain chances on the way this week

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Chances for rain and thunderstorms will be around both Tuesday and again on Wednesday. Severe weather is unlikely Tuesday, but a small chance of severe storms will be possible on Wednesday. Temperatures will be warming up a bit. Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 60s and low to mid 70s. On Wednesday, highs will mostly get to the mid to upper 70s. Overnight lows will mostly be in the 50s.

Warmer overnight lows will be coming for later this week and the weekend, indicating higher dew points. This means there will be more of a muggy feel to the air. The chance for rain and thunderstorms isn’t zero, but is slight for both Thursday and Friday. Stronger southerly winds and warmer temperatures are expected. Highs on Thursday will get to the upper 70s and lower 80s. On Friday, we’re looking at upper 70s and low to mid 80s.

Chances for rain and thunderstorms will pick back up again this weekend. Along with thunderstorms, severe weather chances may return to the area. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 70s and low to mid 80s. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s. Lows will mostly remain in the 60s.
