HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Isaiah Zelasney is “Mr. Do It All” for the Osceola Bulldogs. He is a three-sport athlete and one of the top-contributors on the Bulldog football and basketball teams.

Last Thursday, at the State Track & Field Championships he won the 100m (11.02 seconds), 200m (22.19 seconds) and 400m (50.69 seconds) dashes. He capped it off anchoring the 4x400m relay as Osceola finished first. In the process, the Bulldogs won their second Class D Track & Field title. Zelasney did all that as a sophomore.

“Me and my teammates, they’re always pushing me to do good things and to become just a better runner,” Zelasney said. “They push you every day. We give head starts and I’ll try to catch up to them.”

“He’s got a lot of in-born talent that’s for sure,” Osceola track & field coach Bob Fuller said. “Every time we go out, we set a goal to get a PR and so that will be the same for next year. I’ll just be anxious to see how he does next year.”

Zelasney does not have much time to dwell on his accomplishments as he is playing Legion ball this summer before the high school sports season starts back up again in August.
