HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - On a beautiful evening for baseball, the Hastings Sodbusters tried to right the ship as they took on the Fremont Moo for the third time in four days.

Things got off to a rocky start, as Fremont scored two runs in the top of the first inning.

At the plate, the Sodbusters couldn’t seem to get anything going early on, as Fremont’s Dawson Linder dominated on the mound for the Moo. He pitched four innings of one hit ball, with three strikeouts.

The Sodbusters were able to plate one run in the seventh inning off a Cole Dawson RBI single, but that would be all they could muster as they fall 3-1.

They play the Moo at Duncan Field again on Thursday. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
