HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It was Superhero Night at Duncan Field, and the Sodbusters hoped to foil the Wheat City Whiskey Jacks plans of victory.

In the first inning, the Whiskey Jacks would score one in their half, but the ‘Busters would return with a vengeance when they got their chance at the plate.

After tying the game at one, Jack Hammond gave the Sodbusters the lead with a two RBI double and Omar Jackson followed that with an RBI single, and Hastings put up seven runs in the bottom of the first inning.

The Whiskey Jacks would mount a comeback, scoring four runs in the seventh and ninth innings, and they defeat the Sodbusters 10-9.

Hastings has now lost their last five straight games.
