GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island Public Schools Nutrition Services will again offer their Summer Food Service Program for children. The meal program begins the first full week of June.

All children ages 1-18 are offered a hot lunch and a sack breakfast for the next day at no cost to them. Meals are not available for adults this year, but parents and families are welcome to sit with their children. Masks are required upon entry.

Meals are available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Barr Middle School, 602 W. Stolley Park Road (Door 24)
  • Walnut Middle School, 1600 N. Custer Ave. (main entrance)
  • Dodge Elementary, 641 S. Oak Street (cafeteria door via playground)
  • Howard Elementary, 502 W. 9th Street (main entrance)
  • Lincoln Elementary, 805 Beal Street (main entrance)
