Fued with ex ends in arrest of woman
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island woman is in jail after a series of events aimed at what is described as her “soon to be ex-husband”.
Grand Island police allege 30-year-old Daymara Destrades-Concepcion of Grand Island broke into Darick Villrrela-Leyva’s house and did damage inside, including to his TV, a mirror and other items. She also took his dog.
Police said Destrades-Concepcion had been out of the Villrrela-Leyva’s home for over five months and did not have access to it.
Later on, Destrades-Concepcion saw the man’s pick-up on South Locust Street and rammed her vehicle into it, doing around $3500 worth of damages to the truck.
Destrades-Concepcion was later found at her home, with the man’s dog, and she was arrested for burglary and two counts of criminal mischief.
