HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Unhealthy air quality continues as widespread haze will be present this evening before 11 pm followed by areas of smoke until 3 am. Skies will be mostly clear, with a low’s in the mid 50′s. Winds will be light out of the northeast around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Widespread haze will continue throughout Monday and Monday night. High temperatures tomorrow slightly warmer than today topping off in the mid 80′s for most of the viewing area under sunny skies. Winds will be out of the southwest around 5 mph shifting to southeast in the afternoon. The smokey conditions should improve on your Tuesday with a shift in winds to a more southerly flow.

The rest of the week will have high temperatures gradually making their way into the low 90′s by Thursday. There is a slight chance of rain Wednesday evening and Friday evening. Enjoy the 80′s for the first half of the week before temperatures ramp up once again.
