HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - We’ll see partly cloudy skies on Wednesday with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the day. This chance will continue overnight into very early Thursday morning. These will be isolated in nature with a large part of the area likely to miss out. High temperatures will mostly be in the 80s to right around 90° in the southwest. It will actually be a bit of a cooldown for those out west. Winds will again be breezy out of the south at 8 to 18 mph.

Thursday will be a mostly sunny and warmer day as temperatures climb to the upper 80s and low to mid 90s with the hottest temperatures in the west. There is going to be a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms later in the day, favoring the east. Friday gets hotter and more humid as temperatures rise to the 90s, nearing 100° out west. It may be a touch cooler on Saturday with a few more clouds around. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms both very early in the day and again later in the day. Highs will top out in the upper 80s and low to mid 90s. Sunday may be the hottest day with highs in the mid to upper 90s. A few lower 100s will be possible out west. Another day in the 90s is expected on Monday. There is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms Monday night.
