Two Rivers reports additional COVID-related death

KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Two Rivers Public Health Department is reporting a death in the district related to COVID-19. The individual was a male in his 50s.

“It is so tragic to lose someone still so young, and our hearts go out to all of those suffering this loss,” said Health Director Jeremy Eschliman, who espressed his sympathy for the family.

Eschliman strongly emphasizes the need to take extra precautions at this time as well, including masking, social distancing, hand washing, using hand sanitizer, and utilizing one of the many avenues to receive the free COVID-19 vaccine.

As of September 15, 2021, there have been 125 COVID-related deaths in the Two Rivers health district.
